FAQ

  • Where are Dessert Skin Care products made?

All of my products are handmade in small batches in my kitchen on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. I carefully choose ingredients like local cow’s milk, rich butters, and botanicals.

  • Are your products natural?

Our formulas are crafted with skin-loving natural oils, butters, and extracts. We use gentle, eco-conscious preservatives where needed to keep your products safe and fresh.

  • What’s the difference between Milk-Based and Milk-Free Body Mousse?

Milk-Based Mousse includes locally sourced cow’s milk for extra hydration and luxury.

Milk-Free Mousse is made with distilled water instead of milk, perfect for those with sensitivities or who prefer a vegan option.

Both versions have the same whipped, indulgent texture.

  • How long do your products last?

Body Mousse & Lotions: Best used within 6–8 months of purchase.

Milk-Based Body Mousse: Best used within 6 months of opening

Bath Truffles: Use within 12 months for the best fizz and scent.

Solid Perfumes: Stay fresh up to 12 months when kept cool and dry.

We recommend storing all products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • Do you test on animals?

Never 🐰 Our products are cruelty-free. We only test on ourselves, family, and friends.

  • Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Yes — many of our formulas are designed with sensitive skin in mind. We also offer fragrance-free options for those who prefer no added scent. Always patch test a small amount first if you have extra-sensitive skin.
